« MEHITZA. Seen by women. Ce que femme voit » : from 2003 to 2013 – The mehitza is a physical structure, separating between men and women during Jewish prayer services in the synagogue. An artistic, spiritual, and intellectual journey that unveils the complexity of contemporary Judaism.
The photos have been exhitited at the M.A.H.J. in 2015 (finalist at SIPA in 2017)
A book published in 2016 by Geffen Publishing House (awarded at IPA in 2017) – The photographic essay is accompanied with essays by leading Jewish scholars, which together provide a fascinating analysis of the concept of separation in Judaism.
